The Animal Imaging Repository (AIR) is a network file sharing service offered to researchers for storing large animal imaging data sets. The repository currently has a capacity of 26 TB of RAID 6 storage accessed over a Gigabit Ethernet connection, via the Windows CIFS protocol or Unix NFS protocol. The AIR serves as the backend storage for the microPET/SPECT/CT animal imaging facility, but other Cancer Center animal research cores are welcome to use its capabilities.
